SevenFriday is bringing its 10th anniversary year to a close, and what better way to relax at the end of such a landmark year than with a snifter of fine whiskey.
That’s the thinking behind its final watch launch of the year, the M2/04, which like a vintage scotch is a distillation of everything the watchmaker has learned over the years.
It has the SevenFriday signature case shape, reminiscent of a 70’s TV screen, and oversized at 47.6mm across.
It has the usual three-part case, wrapped in a brass animation ring, screwed-down closed case back and polished bezel.
The dial is created in layers of galvanised gun metal grey metal, rhodium and bronze and has a central hour plate stamped with SEVENFRIDAY, AGED 10 YEARS, like a bottle of whiskey.
SevenFriday owners are part of an informal society of watch fans that can be accessed by scanning an NFC chip on the back of the watch which links to a page where they can register and start exchanging with like-minded individuals and receive special offers and invites.
The M2/04, powered by a Miyota 8215 automatic movement, is on sale for $1,640.
