Launched just in time for the peak wedding season, Armitron has introduced a pair of his and hers watches named the Ross and Rachel.
Armitron has been creating high-quality, high-style and accessibly priced timepieces since 1975 as part of the E. Gluck Corporation. With headquarters in New York City, the umbrella company also produces watches for well-known fashion labels like Anne Klein, Nine West, Juicy Couture, Vince Camuto and Steve Madden, and is an Official Timepiece for the New York Yankees.
The new watches, are inspired by, and take their names from, one of the most famous couples in situation comedy: Friends’ Ross and Rachel. Almost 30 years after David Crane and Marta Kauffman’s fated lovers first aired on NBC, Armitron says that both pieces have been designed to represent enduring love and to win the hearts of lovers who give them as gifts during the 2023 wedding season.
These vintage-style watches have been captured by Armitron’s lead photographer Paul Gordon who has created a story around each one, promoting them as ideal gifts for not just the bride and groom, but for the entire wedding party.
The Ross is portrayed as perfect wristwear for the groom or the groomsmen. Available with white, sunray silver, or glossy black dials in a stainless-steel case, steel bracelet and coin edge bezel in striking gold-tone, silver-tone or two-tone finish. It flawlessly balances and complements its counterpart and exemplifies harmony, elegance, and functionality.
The Rachel matches the Ross and is perfect for the bride or bridesmaids. It features a stainless-steel case in silver or gold tones and is offered in gold with a glossy white dial or silver with a silver sunray dial, both versions with Roman numeral hour markers. The watch is presented on an adjustable link bracelet with a polished coin edge and a push-button clasp.
