Rado has extended its partnership with Great Gardens of the World with the launch of three new watches inspired by exotic plants the Hawaiian Loulu Lelo, the Chilean Araucaria and the Yemeni Dragon Blood Tree, which are all on the endangered species list.

Each plant’s image is captured in a Rado True Thinline watch. They come in monobloc high-tech ceramic cases in black, white or plasma grey.

The Loulu Lelo watch comes in a polished black case and dial decorated with the pleated leaves of the plant.

Rado’s logo is presented in gold on the inside of the watch’s glass.

It is driven by a Rado R766 automatic movement, with Nivachron antimagnetic hairspring and power reserve of 64 hours.

The Araucaria tree is presented in a white ceramic version of the same watch with a white mother-of-pearl dial engraved with the leaf outlines of the rare Chilean tree.

The intricately entangled branches of the Yemeni Dragon Blood Tree are depicted on the third of the three watches in a grey ceramic watch.

All three 40mm watches are on sale for £2,500.
