EPHJ is a must-attend trade show in Geneva for any watchmaker or the growing number of service centers in the country.

The exhibition, which focuses on micro-engineering equipment used in the manufacturing, servicing and repair of watches, marks its 20th anniversary this year when it opens at the Geneva Palexpo from June 14 to 17.

This year’s event will be dedicated to innovation, employment, business and youth, and reveal the results of a follow-up to the survey carried out six years ago focused on how young people in Switzerland feel the world of watches, their expectations and their favourite brand.

This year the number of exhibiting companies has risen by 26% compared to September 2021 to reach 700 exhibitors to date.

The easing of international travel is confirmed with 15 countries represented among the exhibitors, including the United States.

The heart of this 20th edition of EPHJ remains the professional environment of watchmaking and jewelry, upstream and downstream of the finished product.

Highlights include round tables discussing hot topics in the industry each day, such as the need for greater clarity in the jungle of certifications and other ESG/RSE labels, innovation opportunities for high-precision, the current trend for Swiss watchmaking to develop essentially towards the top of the range, medtech prototyping and the shortage of industrial manpower.

The Exhibitors’ Grand Prix will, as usual, reward the best innovation of the year as voted by its peers from among all the technological advances that will be presented this year.
