Luxury watch brand Piaget is to launch at Net-A-Porter, marking the first time its watches have been sold through a luxury global online retailer outside of its own stores and ecommerce site.
Net-A-Porter will begin the collaboration by launching watches from Piaget’s ‘Possession’ range, a signature collection that also includes a variety of jewellery.
There are two watches within the range, available in both white and rose gold diamond styles.
“We are thrilled to be launching Piaget at Net-A-Porter,” said Sophie Quy, the retailer’s buyer. “This iconic brand is perfectly in tune with the Net-A-Porter woman.”
Chabi Nouri, who takes over as CEO of Piaget on April 1, said the partnership was important for the brand’s growth ambitions.
“As the ultimate e-commerce platform for luxury, Net-A-Porter is the ideal partner for Piaget’s first foray outside of the Maison’s own channels,” she said.
Noubri was formerly director of sales and marketing at Richemont Group and her appointment represents a milestone for the business. She is only the second woman to step into the global CEO position for one of the group’s watch and jewellery brands.
The Piaget collection will be launched through Net-A-Porter on 3 April.
