Rainbow colours have been big in watches for the past two years.
Something to do with support for healthcare workers during the pandemic, perhaps.
Perrelet is running with the trend in a new version of its Turbine watch in a 44mm black carbon fibre case with a steel bezel.
The Turbine Rainbow has multicoloured applied numerals and small dots of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet creating an abstract, multi-coloured pattern reminiscent of the drip painting technique used by American artist Jackson Pollock.
The watch is powered by Perrelet’s COSC-certified calibre P-331-MH automatic movement with 42 hour power reserve, which is presented through a crystal case back.
It will be on sale from the middle of August for CHF 4,950.
