International Luxury Group and Peers Hardy have signed a partnership agreement for the distribution of watches and accessories from the Police and Timberland fashion brands in addition to Kenneth Cole watches.
ILG is headquartered in Dubai, and produces watches, accessories, eyewear and fragrances under license for the likes of Ted Baker, Ben Sherman, Daisy Dixon and French Connection.
Peers Hardy has been broadening its portfolio from predominately quartz-based fashion watches into connected smartwatches, fashion, Swiss made and classic watch brands and a range of children’s products including watches, jewellery, stationery and gifts.
The company’s sales & marketing director, Paul Harry, says he has been in regular discussion with ILG management about how best to service the UK market effectively.
“With a smaller fashion watch market, not just here in the UK but globally, consolidation has to be the best strategy to benefit the brands and our customers alike,” Mr Harry suggests.
“The work that has been done by the ILG teams on these brands over the last year or so has seen them transformed and we are incredibly excited to present them to the market in their exciting new guises,” he adds.
