Louis Moinet has been presented with a Guinness World Record for its Cosmopolis watch, to honour the fact that it has the most meteorite inserts in a watch.
Jean-Marie Schaller, CEO and creative director of Les Ateliers Louis Moinet, revealed the secret of the “microcosm of the macrocosm” through the Cosmopolis. This unique watch features twelve distinct meteorites, each telling its own story.
Ms. Seyda Subaci-Gemici, adjudicator of the Guiness World Records, was the surprise guest. She honoured the Cosmopolis with the title “Most meteorite inserts in a watch.”
It’s the third Guiness World Records title for Les Ateliers Louis Moinet and the first for one of its contemporary works. It highlights the innovation and creativity that went into shaping it.
