Watch strap specialist LBS has confirmed it is sponsoring the WatchPro Awards for a second year.
The company will be on stage to present the trophy to the winner of Multiple Retailer of the Year at this year’s black tie Awards Ceremony.
LBS is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of watch straps and other accessories, working with both independent jewellers and major multiples.
“In the last five years we have been successfully working with more and more retail chains which, whilst challenging, is very rewarding providing watch strap solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations. The largest retail chain we supply has over 1,000 stores so to support the award for Multiple Fashion & Lifestyle Watch Retailer is a great partnership,” says Sam Rose, sales director of LBS.
“We are really pleased to be back for a second year supporting this event. Last year was a huge success and it was great to have everyone in the industry together in one place,” he adds.
Historically LBS has been very successful at supplying independent stores with their watch straps and batteries. “Not only is our service unrivaled, we also are extremely competitive which makes us the number one choice for businesses that keep a close eye on their costs,” says Mr Rose.
The WatchPro Awards is the biggest gathering of watch executives in the UK, and LBS is keen to show its support to the industry. “As a leading watch strap supplier it is always great to get together with industry professionals to discuss new innovations and styles that are constantly being launched. It’s brilliant to see what people think will be the next thing to look out for,” Mr Rose describes.
“I think there are a lot of companies and individuals that are really working hard to set themselves apart from the rest within our industry. It’s important for them to be able to get the recognition they deserve at a UK event like this,” he adds.
The 2017 WatchPro Awards take place on November 22 at London’s most prestigious Victorian Ballroom, 8 Northumberland.
They will honour the UK’s best watch retail businesses in categories ranging from independent luxury boutiques to online stores; as well as celebrating the leading teams among the country’s best watch brands and wholesalers.
“This is an event created to celebrate the extraordinary success of the British watch industry, and the people that have contributed to making this one of the world’s most professional and sophisticated markets,” says Rob Corder, managing editor of WatchPro.
