Laings is continuing to build on its longstanding association with Rolex by opening a vast shop in shop for the brand at its Southampton showroom.
The Rolex room has been given 200 square metres of the expanded space, which accommodates a workshop with a Rolex-accredited watchmaker on site and two VIP rooms for private consultations.
“This enhancement is significant for Laings,” says the company’s managing director Stuart McDowell.
“We are very proud to be expanding the Rolex presence in Southampton, upholding the highest standards of quality and service that are integral to both the brand and to our own business. It marks another step forward in Laings’ continued commitment to the skills and intricacies of watchmaking and to offering unparalleled, luxury experiences to our clients,” he adds.
The upgrade in Southampton is part of Laings wider £10 million investment to refurbish and expand stores and elevate the service it provides to customers.
Much of that investment is currently going into a new flagship showroom on Buchanan Street in Glasgow, which will be opening this summer.
That store sits in Rowan House, which is owned by Laings and houses a new service centre and corporate offices.
