JOB OF THE DAY: Seiko National Account Manager

Seiko is looking for a unique Salesperson – a national account manager to build relationships and maximise the brand’s performance with retail partners.

Seiko UK is a heritage watch brand going places – award-winning and dynamic, recognised as WatchPro Lifestyle Brand 2018,19 & 2021 and Retail Jeweller Watch Brand of the year 2020 & 2021.

The team are looking for a unique Salesperson – a national account manager to build relationships and maximise the brand’s performance with their retail partners.

JOB ROLE: 

Working with established national retail partners and identifying new potential relationships, you’ll take full responsibility for Seiko sell-through and brand development.

Your role will be to maximise Seiko’s presence and performance within a portfolio of national retailers, working closely with retailers and Seiko’s UK team to optimise online channels, in store appearance and ranging, co-op communications and any other opportunities that fit the brand’s ambitious plans.

Being on top of market trends and competitor activity, you’ll grow the overall UK Seiko business – making sure that monthly and annual forecasting plans and reviews are accurate and aspirational.

Influencing the UK collections and assortment, inputting into training, POS and display initiatives you’ll work closely with the regional development team ensuring that their in-store visits and store colleague training are visible and effective.

Your job will be to inspire, drive and encourage brand enthusiasm and performance – from consumers to buyers’ decision-making, you’ll be part of Seiko’s exciting new national retail journey.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you’ll already have several years’ experience of a National Account Management role.

Confident presenting detailed horological information to knowledgeable watch buyers, you’ll be at your best introducing new collections and industry innovations.

Well-trained professionally, your experience will have a customer focus which you’ll be eager to continue.

Extremely well organised, the detail matters to you — whether dealing with your retail clientele, analysing self-performance, or liaising with brand colleagues collaboratively improving business performance.

As well as being a wholly capable ‘brand custodian,’ you need also to be up to date with your brand’s overall category performance and trends.
