Jacob & Co partners with European private jetliner GlobeAir

Both Jacob & Co and GlobeAir want to be seen as more than just product or service providers. They want to create communities of like-minded high net worth customers and cater to their every need like high end concierge companies.

Jacob Arabo, founder of ultra-premium watchmaker Jacob & Co, describes the company’s approach as “fearless, pioneering, innovative, creative and risk-taking”, values shared by the brand’s new private jet business partner GlobeAir, according to its CEO Bernhard Fragner.

GlobeAir is a European private jet operator, based in Austria, that offers on-demand flights and concierge services for people who value the privacy, luxury and convenience of chartering their own plane or helicopter.

It has close relationships with many European elite professional sports clubs, including the Alpha Romeo Formula 1 team, for which it is an official partner.

The agreement between GlobeAir and Jacob & Co was born in the UK where Laurence Brannigan is head of the brand’s distributor.

“We came to know GlobeAir because we are a customer for transporting people and products to retail partners like Ray and Scott in Guernsey, and for flying VIP customers to Geneva for the Jacob & Co experience,” Mr Brannigan recalls.

“We share values and work with similar customers, so it is a natural fit,” adds Mr Fragner.

Working together, the businesses aim to offer customers access to great deals on partner hotels and limousines along with unique experiences like trips to Monaco Yacht Week.

Like GlobeAir, Jacob & Co has a strong following among the super-rich sporting community. Premier League footballers in the Northwest will have access to the horological masterpieces through a new partnership with Harrington & Hallworth, which has showrooms in Manchester and the satellite town of Wilmslow.

The next time Christiano Ronaldo or Kevin De Bruyne want to hop back to their home countries, they could book a GlobeAir jet carrying Jacob & Co livery on the side. In flight, they can kick back with a glossy magazine featuring the latest news on the brand’s watches.
