Industry trade show announces rebrand for 2016

Annual trade exhibition Jewellery & Watch has unveiled fresh new branding ahead of its February 2016 show.

Organised by i2i Events Group, the show welcomes over 400 brands each year. The vision behind the change is to bring the vast range of exhibitors, combining different styles, together under one roof.

A new logo and new inspiration behind the show has been introduced to reflect the current industry trend for fashion-led jewellery which has started to make an appearance in fine and precious jewellery designs.

Focusing on The Art of Jewellery, close-up imagery of featured pieces will be introduced in order to provide a gallery feel that artistically captures the sculptural form of the jewellery whilst emphasising the premium nature of the exhibitors on show.

The designs have been tailored to suit different buyers with artistic tastes and a keen eye for design and beauty. Ensuring the audience can identify with minimalistic yet strong crafted pieces of ‘art’, the rebranding is confident, clean, refined and edited.

The biggest change is the faceted search which will allow exhibitors to tag their products shown on the website thereby making it easier for buyers to search for specific products using a number of key criteria such as product type, material, stone, occasion and even price point (RRP). This new search system will provide a shop window for the exhibitors.

Phase two of the new website will include the Most Viewed Product Chart which will provide real insights into which products are looked at most by visitors. As the technology evolves across the retail shows, Jewellery and Watch hope to piece together real intelligence on trends and changes within the industry.

A Wish List will also be introduced to allow visitors to add their favourite items to a virtual shopping basket, whilst browsing the directory containing thousands of the latest products. Visitors can then email themselves the Wish List, in addition to any exhibitor information they require, which will help them locate their favourite products once at the show.
