IBB Dublin has taken over the distribution of Casio in Ireland from this month and plans to grow the business in the country.
The distributor is taking over the distribution for the watch company, whose brand portfolio also includes Sheen, G-Shock and Edifice, from its previous distributor in Ireland, Real Time.
Speaking about having signed the distribution agreement with Casio, John Cooney, IBB Dublin managing director said: "Casio is a world brand that genuinely excites us. It is a brand that we have watched very closely for several years. We are thrilled to have secured the Irish distribution. The former Irish distributor Real Time has done a fantastic job for the past 10 years."
Cooney added that over the next few years, IBB Dublin is aiming to put its own stamp on the brand, increase the brand’s footprint and grow the business in Ireland.
He said: "Fred Argue from Real Time has already proven to be a great help and will be working closely with us to ensure a smooth transition."
Dennis Hicks from IBB Dublin will be Casio brand manager.
