Watch distributor Grenchen Time is introducing Manfred+Cracco into the UK.
Manfred+Cracco is owned by the Belgian company Montebi, which also owns the Rodania watch business.
The new watch brand’s name is made up from Manfred Aebi and Philip Cracco. Aebi was the founder of Montebi and entrepreneur Philip Cracco is the current owner.
Grenchen Time is the distributor of Rodania watches and Morellato watch straps. Through a sister company it is also the long-established distributor of French watch brand, Michel Herbelin.
Manfred+Cracco watches come in four styles: Maddis is a timeless classic, Jackie has been given a feminine touch with the addition of Swarovski stones. Morris has a hint of rawness with its brushed finish and Vega is a mesh watch
with a sunray brushed dial.
Prices range from £179 on a strap to £199 with steel bracelet. Interchangeable straps cost £25 or £35.
To celebrate the launch of Manfred+Cracco in the UK, the brand has produced a limited availability watch with a vintage style union Jack dial. The watch will be given away to the first 50 retailers who take on the brand either as a promotional tool or to sell in-store.
The brand will be offered primarily to independents who will recognise and promote the benefit of Swiss Made quality in such a contemporary watch brand. Key online partners will also be targeted.
