In addition, there will be a full programme of presentations and discussions from key industry leaders.

Rob Corder, managing director of WATCHPRO and Promedia says: “The feedback from WATCHPRO Salon 2021 showed that there is a huge appetite in the UK for live events and especially for hands-on experiences with watches that are not readily available through traditional retail outlets.

“But more than simply seeing and handling timepieces, consumers are keen for the chance to learn more about what is happening in the watch world in terms of trends, innovations and investment opportunities. For our second edition, we have taken the feedback from 2021 and have tailored and built upon the programme that will be on offer for 2022.”

Following a retailer brunch on Friday at 9.30am, and a press viewing at 11.30am, there will be a VIP Preview session for collectors between 2pm and 5.30pm.

The session will afford direct one-on-one access with brands and Champagne and canapés will be served throughout.

Tickets cost £100 for the VIP Preview session.

Friday evening will take the form of a cocktail reception with tickets priced at £40.

Tickets for general admission on Saturday 12, when visitors will have access to from 10am until 6pm, will be available for £20.

According to head of WATCHPRO Live Lucy Cheesewright, “After a short hiatus from the watch industry, it was an absolute joy to return last year to launch WATCHPRO’s event division. I strongly believe that there is no better stage for contemporary horology than live events that personally connect people with brands. WATCHPRO Salon 2021 was the first major British watch show since the pandemic and the turnout and enthusiastic reception proved that there is a strong demand for such events. From my side, it’s wonderful to be able to curate a selection of timepieces from across the whole spectrum of watchmaking and showcase all that is exciting about the watch industry right now.”
