Hodinkee Radio has launched a fresh podcast and video series hosted by the company’s founder Ben Clymer, with British superstar Ed Sheeran crooning about his interest in watches and how he progressed into collecting.
The interview is part of Hodinkee Radio’s new Collectors’ Edition, which gives an inside look at the art of collecting and what it means to be an enthusiast.
Mr Sheeran is well known for his passion for watches and with his wealth, star quality and prodigious spending on timepieces, he has access to product from authorised dealers that most of us can only dream of.
He has been collecting watches since he was 20-years-old, and been a fan of Hodinkee almost as long.
During the interview he discusses his favourite watch, a Patek Philippe 5726, what he makes of the Tiffany-dialed 5711 and Roger Smith watches.
Mr Clymer walks through his collection including pieces from Richard Mille, Linde Werdelin, IWC and A. Lange & Sohne.
