Dubai watch week 5

Dubai Watch Week returns for celebration of horology in November

Dubai Watch Week was created by the Middle East’s most successful luxury watch retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, which set out to create an event that both educates and excites watch lovers in the Middle East and around the world.

The watch industry appears ready to get back to physical events thanks to the successful roll out of vaccinations around the world.

Couture in Las Vegas in August, WatchPro Salon in London from November 12 to 13, and now Dubai Watch Week has announced its return for a 5th edition from November 24 to 28.

The United Arab Emirates has one of the highest covid vaccination rates in the world, and is hosting the Expo 2020 — postponed from last year — from October this year.

Dubai Watch Week was created by the Middle East’s most successful luxury watch retailer, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, which set out to create an event that both educates and excites watch lovers in the Middle East and around the world.

It is also attracting an audience from around the world, which is an important contribution to Dubai’s ongoing ambition to be an international hub for culture, travel, tourism and retail.

Dubai Watch Week is returning to its home at The Gate, an iconic building at the entrance to Dubai International Financial Centre.

The theme this year is, Connecting, Creating and Celebrating, and the Horology Forum, which runs alongside an exhibition of prestigious watch brands, will look at the intersection of luxury and horology with other key industries.

A core event objective is to create an experiential event with the support of participating brands and partners on ground.

“This is a milestone year for the UAE and Dubai Watch Week, with UAE celebrating its 50th anniversary and this being the 5th edition of DWW. Our goal this year is to continue to expand on the unique platform we have built and champion innovative concepts & experiences that appeal to a wider audience. We are delighted to reunite soon with our partners, exhibiting brands, members of the press and enthusiasts on ground to celebrate the industry and the aforementioned milestones” says Hind Seddiqi, director general of Dubai Watch Week.
