Carl F. Bucherer is reviving and modernizing a classic 1960s design in the launch of the Heritage Chronometer Celebration this month.
The limited edition capsule collection picks up on the simpler, more utilitarian aesthetic of early sixties everyday watches.
There are two references. One in 18ct rose gold, the other in stainless steel.
The golden watch, limited to just 88 pieces, has a choice of silver galvanized or brown gradient lacquered dial.
In steel, the watch is made with with a silver galvanized or black lacquered dial. Only 188 are being made.
Both 39mm three-hander with date watches use the COSC-certified automatic CFB 1965.1 caliber with 42 hour power reserve.
They have a closed case back depicting the Carl F. Bucherer crest.
Carl F. Bucherer has priced the gold watch at £16,500 while the steel piece is £5,100.
