Bremont has created a black DLC-coated version of its Broadsword three-hander to celebrate being awarded a Silver Armed Forces Covenant in recognition of its long term support for Britain’s military.

The watch will only be sold through Bremont’s own ecommerce site worldwide.

Broadsword watches were launched in 2019 as a modern-day take on the Dirty Dozen watches made by twelve manufacturers for the British Army during World War II.

The 40mm Broadsword Jet, which is on sale this week, comes in a 40mm two-piece stainless steel case with a black dial, bronze-coloured hands and crown, and white numerals and markers for hours, date and the small seconds sub dial at 6 o’clock.

Inside, Bremont has used a modified BE-95-2AV automatic chronometer-rated movement with glucydur balance, anachron balance spring and nivaflex mainspring.

The back of the watch is engraved with Her Majesty’s Armed Forces Heraldic Badges.

It is worn on a black rubber strap and sells for £2,995.
