Breitling has tailored its Transocean to appeal to women shoppers and is promoting the watch with the tagline First-class femininity.
The new Transocean Chronograph 38 has a scaled-down case size of 38m – its male equivalent is sized at 43mm – and is presented with an 18ct rose gold or steel case.
The mechanical watch carries a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement, the Breitling 41. The chronograph has a 30-minute and small small seconds counters at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock, 1/4th of a second central chronograph seconds hand and a date window at 6 o’clock.
Dial options include black, silver tone and midnight blue, with each carrying engravings of the classic Breitling stylised planes on the caseback.
The Transocean Chronograph 38 watch will be officially launched at BaselWorld in April.
