Berry’s gives all staff a one-off cost of living payment

As Westminster descends into chaos with a third prime minister about to move into Downing Street, the management of the Leeds-based luxury jeweller has taken its own action to support its team.

Berry’s has authorised a one off payment to all staff in November to help them cope with the rising cost of living.

As Westminster descends into chaos with a third prime minister about to move into Downing Street, the management of the Leeds-based luxury jeweller has taken its own action to support its team.

Berry’s head of operations, Simon Oxby says all staff will receive a generous one-off cost of living payment, to be paid in their November 2022 salaries.

The payment will be made to retail, web and head office personnel.

A letter to all staff says: “As a family business, and as you are part of the Berry’s family, with the current economic climate of rising inflation, high interest rates and increasing fuel costs, Simon and Jeffrey would like to help you all during these unprecedented times”.
