Change is afoot at Richemont after last week’s announcement of the departure of Eraldo Poletto, chief executive of Alfred Dunhill.
Poletto has decided to leave the brand and group in order to pursue interests outside of Richemont.
Richemont has announced the appointment of Fabrizio Cardinali, current chief executive of Lancel as Alfred Dunhill’s new CEO, effective June 1 2013.
Cardinali has more than 20 years’ experience in the fashion and accessories industry, having held key roles at Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel and Levi Strauss.
