Rado welcomes Murray win at brand-sponsored event

By Jessica Knowles

Rado brand ambassador Andy Murray won the Aegon Championship on Sunday after defeating reigning champion Cilic in close sets of 5-7, 7-5, 6-3. Murray is the fifth man to have won the lawn tournament three times.

After rain delayed the start, the match was then played out without interruption for 2 hours and 33 minutes, timed by the Rado corner clocks on Centre Court. The brand is the Official Timekeeper for the event.

Commenting on this latest win, Rado CEO Matthias Breschan said: “We are extremely proud of Andy, not only for this latest Championship win, but also for his performance during the whole week at Queen’s. He has cemented his status as one of the greats of the modern game.”

Murray is Rado’s global ambassador in the world of tennis, and the face of the Rado HyperChrome Collection. During the grass court season, he can be seen wearing the Automatic Chronograph in green from the Rado HyperChrome Court Collection.
