Breguet has broken ranks from its watchmaking rivals with an early indication of its focus at Baselworld 2017.
The first watch of next year’s collection is a new rose gold version of its Tradition Dame, a launch that the company says marks its devotion to women ahead of the Basel exhibition.
First introduced in 2005, the Tradition Dame range has steadily expanded to include a palette of models now enriched by the 2017 rose gold edition.
The self-winding timepiece shows its hand-engraved barrel at the centre of the dial, obscured by its small white mother-of-pearl watch face at 12 o’clock with rose gold open-tipped Breguet hands.
The Calibre 505SR movement’s main gear trains and bridges are also almost fully exposed. The watch is contained in a solid rose gold 37mm case with 68 brilliant cut diamonds on its bezel.
Only 50 will be made.
