Byrne could be looking for a toe-hold in the Las Vegas market by going all-in with a new Casino watch in its Gyro Dial collection.
All Gyro watches have rotating cubes at 12, 3, 6 and 9 on the dial that rotate, faster than the eye can see, to show four different faces.
There are two new models, one with a vertically grained black dial, the other in blue.
Both have the four cubes that flip between the lucky number 7, as seen on slot machines, faces showing all four suits from a pack of cards, then Arabic hour numerals and finally blank faces with subtle hour markers.
The trick is performed by a specially developed automatic movement made by Fleurier at Le Temps Manufactures.
The watch comes in a 41.7mm titanium case and is worn on a black or blue rubber strap. Price is CHF 18,000.
