Skagen has unveiled its watch to celebrate Pride Month in June.
The Fossil Group-owned brand has chosen to make a collection of its Grenen model with straps inspired by the Pride and Transgender flags.
The company is donating 100% of proceeds from the sale of the Pride collection to InterPride, a non-profit with a mission to promote LGBTQIA+ through collaboration between Pride organizations around the world.
There two versions of the gender-neutral 37mm Pride watch, one with rainbow coloured hour markers, which is worn on a multicoloured mesh strap. Production is limited to 750 units, priced at $135.
The other has a rainbow solar powered dial that can run for up to 6 months on a full charge and comes on a steel mesh bracelet.
300 are being made, priced at $165.
They are on sale now until June 30.
“Pride is all about visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community and what is more powerful than the symbol of our community’s flag,” says InterPride Co-President Natalie Thompson.
“Pride organizations across the globe depend on brand partnerships like this and through the sale of Skagen’s Pride flag-inspired watches along with other brands who support our mission, we are able to continue our work in progressing the global Pride movement.”
