88 Rue du Rhone is exhibiting at the London Watch Show. The brand said that the launch of the event is recognition of the importance of the UK market to the Swiss watch industry.
The brand, which was founded by Elie and Pierre Bernheim – grandsons of Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil, will be looking to expand its UK distribution at the inaugural London Watch Show, which is taking place at the Freemasons’ Hall on July 2 and 3.
"For us the London Watch Show represents an opportunity for us to showcase our brand to top retailers and media with a view of gaining accounts while building brand awareness within the industry," said Marcus Braybrook of 88 Rue du Rhone. "We feel that it is essential for the UK to have its own watch trade show. The UK represents a huge part of most Swiss watch brand’s businesses and is seen by all brands as one of the key global markets, thus why wouldn’t we want our own show?"
