Rotary has brought its Avenger family back in 2018, a model that made its debut as a hand-wound mechanical model back in the 1960s before switching to quartz movements.
“The Avenger is back and here to stay. Originally launched in 1960, this watch collection signifies clean vintage design at its very best,” Rotary says.
The three handed dress watch with date at 6 o’clock is based on a retro quartz model from Rotary’s archive of museum pieces.
It has a vintage aesthetic with clean lines and bubble mineral glass.
The watch’s outer dial has a radial brush design and the inner has a galvanic finish.
It comes on a calf leather strap or 3-link steel bracelet.
The 38mm case is far from oversized in today’s market, but is larger than the 1960s original.
Avenger will be available online at Rotary’s ecommerce website from today and with retail partners from March priced at £129.
