Graham has launched a new timepiece in celebration of its Mexican racing ambassador Mario Dominguez.
Dominguez has been a Graham ambassador for since 2011, but the brand has now unveiled a special edition of its Silverstone timepiece dedicated to the IndyCar racer.
The Silverstone Stowe Racing Mexico model is limited to just 100 pieces. It has a black PVD stainless 48mm case with a ceramic bezel, open caseback and is water resistant to 100m.
It has its Swiss-made Graham automatic calibre movement G1734 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.
The dial is black carbon with black snailed minutes counter with a red ring, a green external rim with minute scale and red Mexico inscription at 6 o’clock. The strap featured a tyre tread pattern in reference to Dominguez’s racing career.
Dominguez made his Champ Car debut in 2002 and became Rookie of the Year, with his first Champ Car victory in 2002 at the Honda Indy 300. In 2004 Dominguez had his best season to date by finishing 5th in the final standings.
The brand recently signed racer Steven Liquorish as its latest racing ambassador.
