Benedetti is first female Raymond Weil ambassador

Raymond Weil chief executive officer Elie Bernheim last night introduced classical violinist Nicola Benedetti MBE as the brand’s first female ambassador.

Bernheim introduced Benedetti at a special dinner at London’s Savoy Hotel and unveiled a special edition Toccata for the UK market to celebrate. The watch has been designed by both Bernheim and Benedetti.

The violinist performed two musical recitals in front of dinner guests before being joined by fourteen students from Jessop’s Primary School in South London, to perform Spring from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Benedetti joins musical stars Labrinth, Milos Karadaglic and 2Cellos as the latest Raymond Weil music ambassador, embodying the brand’s musical DNA and core values.

Bernheim said: “We first met Nicola approximately three years ago at the Classic BRIT Awards and immediately became inspired not only by her extraordinary talent as a musician but also the wonderful philanthropic work that she undertakes on a daily basis. In September, we will unveil our partnership at retail through the launch of her special edition toccata timepiece. It has personally been a joy for me to collaborate on the design process with her”.

The new special edition toccata features a chocolate brown satin strap and contrasting brown dial set with 91 diamonds. The timepiece is priced at £1,695.
