Ever a brand to add a touch of humour to its PR spin, Nomos Glashütte will launch its new Orion 38 Grau at BaselWorld tomorrow.
This is a watch – despite its somewhat gloomy dial colour – that is here to excite, according to Nomos, which describes grey as more elegant than white, more exciting than black.
The Orion 38 Grau has a larger, but still very wearable, 38mm case that lends the design a flatter and more stand-out aesthetic.
The watch has a sapphire crystal caseback through which the brand’s hand-wound Alpha movement can be spied. The dial has been rhodium-plated for a rich sheen.
