Kennett, a watch brand born in Scotland but now expanding rapidly overseas, has signed its first retailer in Japan.
The brand was created by Tom Kennett in 2009, and already has a network of stockists across the UK, online and around the world.
The brand’s stated aim is to deliver classic British style in a versatile range of watches that suit the modern man and woman.
Watches typically retain from around £100-250.
Cracking Japan could significantly accelerate the growth of Kennett, which has already secured funding support from government-related agencies.
“We are very excited to get started in Japan. It is a key market for luxury fashion brands, especially British ones. If we do it right, Japan could potentially be our biggest market,” said Kennett.
