Hamilton is extending its best-selling Khaki and Jazzmaster collections this year with two limited-edition timepieces, the Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Air Zermatt and the Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Limited Edition.
The Swatch Group-owned brand looks to combine ‘American spirit’ with the precision of the latest Swiss movements and technologies. The brand also boasts a strong aviation heritage, which it plays on heavily across its 2018 innovations.
Jazzmaster Thinline Automatic
Hamilton has expanded one of its longest standing collections with the addition of the Jazzmaster Thinline Automatic, a customisable wristwatch with a 40mm polished stainless steel case, which is available in four colourways. There are four different curved, sunray dials and strap colour combinations to choose from.
Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm
Inspired by the military, the latest model from Hamilton’s Khaki Field features a 38mm matt stainless steel case, three hand display, dark dial with light, luminescent numerals, indexes showing hours and minutes, durable NATO strap. The new Khaki Field Mechanical is a faithful recreation of its original 1940s forebear and it is true to Hamilton’s military heritage.
Khaki Pilot Auto Day Date

This new collection also sees the introduction of the next generation of Hamilton leather straps. Inspired by the leather flying jackets worn by top U.S. military pilots, the straps are authentic to the look of leather that has spent a life in the cockpit under the stresses, strains and G-force experienced by pilots.
Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Limited Edition
Based on the original Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono, the 2018 limited-edition is packed with aviation features for pilots and offers a technical perspective, including the ground-breaking crosswind calculator of the original.
Limited to just 1,918 individually numbered pieces, the Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Limited Edition features a robust 45 mm stainless steel case.
Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Air Zermatt Limited Edition
Hamilton has been a partner of the world-famous Air Zermatt mountain rescue service since 2011 and for 2018, the watch brand has produced two special watches to mark the team’s 50th anniversary. The Khaki X-Wind Auto Chrono Air Zermatt Limited Edition houses the H-21-Si, the first Hamilton chronograph movement with a silicon hairspring.
Just 100 pieces of the Limited Edition Air Zermatt watch will be made. 50 pieces will be presented to the Air Zermatt team and the remaining 50 will be made available for sale exclusively in Switzerland.
