JOB OF THE DAY: UK National Sales Manager – Jaeger-LeCoultre

Why we need you!

As our UK National Sales Manager you hold the success of our wholesale relationships in your hands. You will be responsible for working with your retail partners in order to drive the Jaeger Le Coultre strategy and achieve the desired sales targets and visibility that we need for our maison. You will use your commercial acumen to develop strategies that increase the sell-out of Jaeger-LeCoultre and activate the Trade Marketing programme designed.

What does this opportunity entail for you?

Working within a small team, your role will be fast paced and constantly evolving. Your key areas of owenership will include:

  • Sales & Business Development – Acting as main point of contact for the wholesale partners you will budget and plan how each account will achieve their annual sales target. Working with your wider team you will analyse the stock levels creating action plans that optimise on the sell out activity. From your analysis you will also aim to invetigate opportunities that could expand the distribution network further
  • Brand Visibility & Trade Marketing– Managing the wholesale business you will always aim to ensure the best visibilty of the maison through impacting and commercial merchandising . You will further this visibility through activiating the trade marketing programme which entails regional events, manufacture visits, training porgrammes and collaborative media programmes
  • Regional Training programme– Ensuring an exceptional client journey will come from your retail staff and ambasssadors. To ensure they are nurtured and engaged with the maison you will design bespoke training modeules for specific needs. You will also ensure all sales advisors are availing of monthly, quarterly and annual training plans so they raise their expertise and engagement with the maison

What kind of experience do you have?

This is a fast paced role working within a small team and due to the autonomy and scope of this position it will suit the strong wholesale experience you have already aquired. You will ideally have strong sell in/sell out experience with evidence of advanced analytical skills to go alongside. This position will require you to work with many different partners and business models and therefore your strong negotiation and diplomacy skills will be essential. Your wholesale partners will be like your wider team and therefore your ability to build relationships based on trust and honesty will be key. They will look to you for advice, inspiration and commercial guidance, and hence your ability to really understand their business and account profile will ensure you succeed. To be truly engaged in this position you will have a passion for fine watches or simply a strong apprecition for luxury high value items. This is key as it will allow you to understand the expectations of our market and the apetite of such a product sector. Finally you will be someone who is flexible as this role encompasses frequent travel throughout the UK, Ireland and periodically to Switzerland.
