IWC Schaffhausen has released two limited-edition Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days timepieces that are on sale exclusively at London’s Harrods for three months before being rolled out to all IWC boutiques.
Both watches feature a mechanical IWC-manufactured hand-wound movements, an eight-day power reserve and a see-through sapphire glass back.
An 18ct gold version, priced at £15,990, is limited to 50 pieces, while a steel model will be made in a run of 100 this year and costs £8,590.
The 45mm watches both have green dials with sun-pattern finish, gold-plated indices, small seconds, a power reserve indication and a discreet date display.
They have sapphire-glass backs and come on bronze alligator straps from Santoni with a pin buckle.
The Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days is powered by the IWC-manufactured 59210 hand-wound calibre.
