This month’s Hublot exhibition at Harrods is the fourth stop on a global Art of Fusion Tour that will have touched down in Beirut, Kyoto, Macau, London, Hanoi, Berlin, New York, Praha and Istanbul by the time it ends.

The aim of the events is to demonstrate Hublot’s constant mission to innovate and bring new materials and combinations of materials to life in its watches.

The watchmaker has created its own patented alloys such as Hublonium (magnesium and aluminium), King Gold (gold and platinum), and more recently, Magic Gold, which uses ceramic in an alloy that makes 24ct gold scratch-resistant.

“The Art of Fusion means linking yesterday and today with tomorrow and we feel London embodies that concept perfectly,” says Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot.

“2017 is a milestone year for Hublot at Harrods with the opening of our new boutique at the end of November ahead of the refurbishment of the Fine Watch Room. Such refurbishment is part of Harrods’ willingness to offer the utmost quality of service to both its local and its international customers and Hublot is proud partner with Harrods to achieve this goal.”
