Electricianz plugs into UK retailer network with Cable Z timepiece

Electricianz, a Swiss-based start-up that came to the UK last year, is introducing a second collection of electricity-inspired timepieces.

The Electricianz team hails from a branding and design agency that wants to give customers cutting-edge, daring products that explore the impact of electricity on the world.

The watches are distributed by MDS Time Limited, which is also distributor for Sevenfriday watches, which has secured placement at Selfridges, CS Bedford, DC Leake, CW Sellors and Ealing Time.

Its second collection, Cable Z, is described as “an ode to electricity with an explosive bouquet of enmeshed and colourful cables” that look like the wires of an old fashion British plug.

It comes in a 45mm yellow nylon case with stainless steel bezel and pushers and houses a modified Miyota 2033 movement.

“Vibrant and easy going, the Cable Z embodies a kid-like wonder before the physical world, celebrating the time where quests consisted of uncovering how things work,” describes Laurent Rubenacht, chief electricianz officer for the business.

The watch goes on sale on the Electricianz website on February 28th priced at CHF 375.
