Watch distributor Zircontime has added Hygge to its stable of watch brands.
The company, which already distributes brands like Puma and Esprit, has identified the Scandinavian-designed watch brand as having huge potential in the UK market.
Retailing at £130-215 and manufactured in Japan, Hygge is the brainchild of its parent company, P.O.S, which has been working on Hygge watches since 2009.
P.O.S is a family-owned company, which originally earned a reputation as a major dial manufacturer, supplying Japanese and Swiss brands.
Since 1987 it has focused its attention on importing and promoting Scandinavian brands into the Japanese market.
Zircontime will be hoping that Hygge’s unique cocktail of Scandinavian design and Japanese craftsmanship will prove a winning formula.
