Zenith appeals to the affluent après-ski set with snowflake Defy Classics

Zenith is targeting the affluent après-ski set with a fresh pair of Defy Classic Skeleton watches made in collaboration with Fusalp, a 70-year-old French business rooted in skiing and skiwear.

The Fusalp x Zenith watches will launch in Zurich at the opening of a new Fusalp boutique in November, and will go into distribution for watch retailers after that.

One of the watches is white as the driven snow, the other is black.

Both have a dial that combines the Zenith star with a snowflake.

They come in white or black 41mm ceramic cases housing Zenith’s Elite 670 skeleton automatic movement.

They are worn on rubber straps in matching colors.

The white version, limited to 100 pieces, is on sale for £9,200 while the black one is more plentiful at 300 pieces, which can be the only explanation for it being £900 cheaper (about one bottle of Cristal if you are in Verbier) at £8,300.
