Wrangler saddles-up for ride into smartwatch market

The aim is to bring the vibe of Wrangler’s Western heritage to a line of high quality connected timepieces.

Paradox Fine Watch Company, an official licensee of the Wrangler brand, has unveiled three smartwatches that go on sales this fall for $89 to $135.

The aim is to bring the vibe of Wrangler’s Western heritage to a line of high quality connected timepieces with details including ornate cases and buckles and Horween leather straps or a turquoise leather option for women.

Saddle up and still count your steps, could be the slogan.

“Our partnership with Wrangler has allowed us to develop a new line of smartwatches specifically geared towards the western lifestyle and those individuals who live it every day,” says Mark Schatten, executive director of Paradox.

“From the looks to the functionality, we believe we’ve created something truly unique for the industry, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The three styles of smartwatch are all compatible with both iPhone and Android and track message notifications, along with health conditions, fitness data and farm and ranch weather conditions.

Influencers Jena and Trevor Knowles will be official spokespeople for the line through 2020.

Wrangler smartwatches are distributed to retail partners along with 60 other models from the brand. Paradox Fine Watch Company also offers watches from Casio, G-Shock and Garmin in the United States.
