{"id":40208,"date":"2018-02-22T12:45:58","date_gmt":"2018-02-22T12:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/?p=40208"},"modified":"2018-02-23T16:41:06","modified_gmt":"2018-02-23T16:41:06","slug":"alpina-launch-new-line-pilot-watch-brand-embraces-air-racing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/alpina-launch-new-line-pilot-watch-brand-embraces-air-racing\/","title":{"rendered":"Alpina lifts off with line of pilot watches as the brand embraces air racing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Alpina has announced its latest line of timepieces alongside news that Mike Goulian, the current leader in this year&#8217;s Red Bull Air Race World Championship, has been signed as a brand ambassador.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The watchmaker has also formed a new collaboration as the Official Team Partner of Team Goulian in the Championships.<\/p>\n<p>The new Startimer Pilot Chronograph Quartz from Alpina comes in\u00a0three core styles. The first has a navy blue dial with a matching blue nylon strap or a stainless steel bracelet. The second showcases a beige dial also with a choice of either blue nylon strap or a stainless steel bracelet. The third is an all-black version.<\/p>\n<p>All three have a 42mm case with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a specially-engraved case back with the Alpina logo.<\/p>\n<p>Each dial is decorated with white or blue luminous indexes and hand-polished hands.<\/p>\n<p>Three counters are placed at 3, 6 and 9 o\u2019clock displaying the small seconds counter, the 30-minute counter and days of the week respectively.
