{"id":40121,"date":"2018-02-19T09:37:22","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T09:37:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/?p=40121"},"modified":"2018-02-19T13:18:31","modified_gmt":"2018-02-19T13:18:31","slug":"pictures-panerai-welcomes-guests-official-opening-london-flagship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/pictures-panerai-welcomes-guests-official-opening-london-flagship\/","title":{"rendered":"IN PICTURES: Panerai welcomes guests to official opening of its London flagship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Panerai held the official opening of its London flagship in February with CEO Angelo Bonati hosting a night attended by customers, celebrities and journalists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Philippe de Saint Lager, Panerai&#8217;s UK and Ireland Brand Manager introduced journalists Nick Foulkes and Anish Bhatt to a gathering that also included footballers\u00a0Robert Pir\u00e8s and Youri Djorkaeff, Carlo Ceppi, Panerai Europe sales director, and Frederic Dreyer, director of research and development for the Richemont-owned brand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-40146\" src=\"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/2018\/02\/Robert-Pires.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Guests were given a tour of the Bond Street boutique, and shown a presentation of vintage Panerai watches alongside current models and 2018 novelties first shown at SIHH in January including\u00a0L\u2019Astronomo, Lo Scienziato and Minute Repeater models.<\/p>\n<p>The store, located at 30 New Bond Street, is the brand\u2019s first standalone store in the UK, and the second largest in Europe after\u00a0 Panerai\u2019s flagship in Florence.<\/p>\n<p>The boutique was\u00a0created by\u00a0architect and designer Patricia Urquiola.
