{"id":33283,"date":"2017-01-05T11:59:59","date_gmt":"2017-01-05T11:59:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/?p=33283"},"modified":"2017-01-05T12:00:10","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T12:00:10","slug":"harrods-secures-exclusive-for-limited-london-edition-of-chopard-happy-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/harrods-secures-exclusive-for-limited-london-edition-of-chopard-happy-sport\/","title":{"rendered":"Harrods secures exclusive for limited London edition of Chopard Happy Sport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Chopard has given Harrods the exclusive opportunity to sell limited editions of its Happy Sport collection of gold, diamond and steel ladies watches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The watches go on sale as part of 40th anniversary celebrations for Happy Diamonds, the concept of freely dancing diamonds inside the watch face.<\/p>\n<p>The Happy Sport was created in 1993 by\u00a0Caroline Scheufele, Chopard co-president and artistic director in a move to make the Happy Diamonds idea more accessible.<\/p>\n<p>She designed a sporty watch, still using dancing gemstones, in a more robust and affordable steel and diamonds and called it the Happy Sport.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;True to the spirit of Happy Diamonds, these gems dancing freely between two sapphire crystals soon became a symbol of Chopard and feminine watchmaking as a whole. Precious, yet resolutely sporty.
