{"id":27639,"date":"2016-02-24T13:09:21","date_gmt":"2016-02-24T13:09:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/?p=27639"},"modified":"2016-02-24T14:47:48","modified_gmt":"2016-02-24T14:47:48","slug":"tag-heuer-connects-with-soccer-in-long-term-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/tag-heuer-connects-with-soccer-in-long-term-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"TAG Heuer \u2018connects\u2019 with soccer in long-term partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Default\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">TAG Heuer announced a long-term partnership agreement today with Major League Soccer (MLS) and the U.S. Soccer Federation. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">The partnership, which commences on the first day of MLS\u2019 21st season, March 6 2016, will further establish TAG Heuer\u2019s standing as a worldwide timekeeper for \u2018The Beautiful Game\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">The partnership is also inclusive of the Professional Referee Organization (PRO), the organisation responsible for managing the referee and assistant referee program in professional soccer leagues in the United States and Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">During MLS games, PRO referees will wear a Connected watch, the newly launched smart watch in the TAG Heuer collection. Each MLS referee will also be branded with the TAG Heuer logo on their uniform. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">Additionally, TAG Heuer will be visible on the substitution board used on the sideline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt;\">As a premier luxury sports watchmaker, TAG Heuer will act as the Official Watch and Official Timekeeper of MLS and PRO.
