{"id":1180,"date":"2012-07-24T14:44:28","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T14:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/watchpro.wpengine.com\/2012\/07\/24\/perrelet-unveils-in-house-calibre-movements\/"},"modified":"2012-07-24T14:44:28","modified_gmt":"2012-07-24T14:44:28","slug":"perrelet-unveils-in-house-calibre-movements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watchpro.com\/perrelet-unveils-in-house-calibre-movements\/","title":{"rendered":"Perrelet unveils in-house calibre movements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><sup><strong>By Deepa Narwani<\/strong><\/sup><\/p>\n<p><strong>Perrelet has introduced the Alternance 10 (A10) calibre which enables complete production control.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All new models launched in 2012 will be equipped with the in-house calibres and Perrelet will in due course replace all the other calibres currently used in other models.<\/p>\n<p>The A10 calibres with integrated double rotor are produced exclusively by Perrelet, which holds the patent for this system.<\/p>\n<p>The first Perrelet watch equipped with the new movement is the Peripheral Double Rotor, the latest of the double rotor models.<\/p>\n<p>Perrelet chief executive officer Fausto Salvi said: &ldquo;Today more than ever, having in house means of developing and producing horological specialties represents a great opportunity. Production autonomy is an extremely important issue and an aspect that enables us to remain in the avant-garde of our field.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Witness the recent acceleration we have undertaken in diversifying the Double Rotor modules.
