In November WatchPro unveiled its Watches of the Year 2013, made up of 10 winning timepieces and 90 highly commended watches that we felt boasted commercial appeal, innovation and had wowed consumers and retailers alike over the past 12 months.
Highly commended for the WatchPro Sports Watch of the Year 2013 was the TW Steel TW703 Grandeur Diver.
This overhaul of the TW Steel Grandeur Diver collection has clinched it a spot as a highly commended sports watches this year. The powerful movement and larger chrono subdials on the watch face take most of the praise.
Six new models were added to the Grandeur Diver collection this year, giving it a more style-conscious look than we’ve seen from it before.
The models have been given a Miyota 6S20 movement, which the brand claims is more powerful than any other chronograph movement currently available. In line with this, the chronograph subdials are larger, giving the watches an even more powerful sporty look, while also making them easier to read during activities.
The TW703, with its oversized 48mm diameter and PVD rose gold-plated case, particularly stands out. The new models are 20 ATM water resistant and feature a black silicon strap.
