Highly Commended. Mechanical Watches of the Year 2014.
Tissot’s Visodate almost deserves a category of its own for the phenomenal value proposition it offers.
Tissot offers this stylish retro design with domed crystal and a decorated ETA automatic movement which, by nature of its Swatch Group ownership should be considered in-house, for just £395.
That’s less than some brands charge for a spare steel bracelet. The Heritage Visodate line celebrates the 1950s watch of the same name which integrated a date function with an automatic watch for the first time.
The collection offers a host of finishes and strap options and uses a heritage brand logo on the dial. It’s a solid mechanical watch with day/date complication that could form the beginnings of a solid watch collection.
