WOTY 2014: Omega Seamaster 300

Highly Commended. Sports Watches of the Year 2014.

2014 was certainly the year of the divers watch and Omega featured a modern redesign of its 1957 Seamaster 300 in its strong Basel presentation.

There would be little chance of confusing the 2014 model with its predecessor – the watch is better proportioned, cleaner and sharper to behold.

The new Seamaster 300 also has the honour of being one of the first watches in the Omega range to carry Omega’s newly renamed anti-magnetic Master Co-Axial movement.

The Seamaster 300, which should now be available to retailers, is available with stainless steel case and bracelet or a bimetal version using Omega’s 18ct Sedna gold, an alloy of gold, palladium and copper. The watch’s polished ceramic bezel is available with a diving scale in either Liquidmetal or Omega’s Ceragold.
