Winner. Fashion Watch of the Year 2014.
Since Lesa Bennett and Jemma Fennings launched London-based Olivia Burton in 2012 the brand seems to have strode confidently from one success to the next, having been signed up to a string of fashionable department stores, the likes of which most companies would kill for.
While much of that must be attributed to the hard work of the brand’s founding duo, a portfolio of infallibly stylish designs doesn’t hurt either.
WatchPro’s top pick from 2014’s fashion watch releases, the Flower Show, follows suit with a round, gold-plated 30mm case serving as a luxurious frame for a Mills and Boon-style painted floral dial design.
The two elements are brought together by matching polished gold hour markers; Roman at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions and batons for the remainder. The pink, apricot and orange tones of the dial are complemented by an earthy, mid-grey strap.
The caseback is brand etched and the underside of the strap embossed with a Japanese quartz, three-handed movement lying within. Costing just £65, it’s a perfect example of the kind of style Olivia Burton offers on a real budget.
